ATLANTA BOTANICAL GARDENS - orchids, orchids and more orchids

Before spending some hot and humid time in the Atlanta Botanical Garden's orchid house I had no idea the variety that these beauties offer.

While many of the colours are variations on pink or white I was pleasantly surprised to find some bright yellows and even a vibrant orange.  Whatever their colour or form, all of these flowers are beautiful and some are areally rather distinctive.

I hope you enjoy!

    1. Thanks for stopping in Yang, but these are not actually my orchids. I have to admit when I buy some I usually hold un to them until the blooms die then discard them in the trash. Wasteful I know!

  5. Beautiful tropical flowers, it is wonderful to see them when we have cold and ice. The orchids are so pretty, I especially like the yellow and orange ones.

    1. Hannah, I was quite glad to see an orange one myself. Nothing wrong with white and pink, but it is always nice to spot something more unusual.

  6. Inspiring, aren't they? Orchids are a joy to have mid-winter indoors, just one or two.

    1. True Jean, I don't need all of these in my home, just a couple will do to brighten the room.
