While I do not leave every volunteer where it lands I at least try to transplant them and keep them in the garden. If you search for some of my posts on my woodland garden you will see that I really try and build on what nature already has in place - it is a great strategy for locations like that but not for my home where leaving it 'as is' would mean leaving lawn (boo).astudentgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17897771369368350331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5185837729875061195.post-76232409621397263422013-10-16T09:23:45.268-05:002013-10-16T09:23:45.268-05:00It sure does, especially this time of year, oh, an...It sure does, especially this time of year, oh, and in the spring too, and let's not forget about summer...astudentgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17897771369368350331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5185837729875061195.post-11804725314241255422013-10-15T15:12:02.218-05:002013-10-15T15:12:02.218-05:00Wonderful photos! I am always mindful to plant where things will grow well, not to a grand design, I also let thins stay where they have seeded on the maxim that "where God sows, it grows". When you work with non-wetting, saline soil in a dry area you soon learn to take any help offered.Companion planting is my way here, I take any help I can get.<br />Of course, I could get in truckloads of topsoil and pop in an instant designer garden but where would be the challenge in that??Arijahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03720793296992474762noreply@blogger.com
